Shaleem John Gill is a criminal defence lawyer practicing in downtown Toronto. He works on cases all over the GTA. He guides, advises, and defends individuals charged with all types of criminal offences.
Shaleem started his legal career in criminal law by articling with highly-skilled and well-known criminal defence lawyer; Nadir Sachak and Elham Ellen Jamshidi. This allowed him to perfect his courtroom skills and practical knowledge of the law in a wide variety of matters including: murder cases, impaired driving charges, guns and gangs offences, and sexual assault offences. Shaleem further learnt and refined his ability to achieve desirable results for clients as he worked closely with the senior lawyers.
Shaleem has since continued to work with Nadir Sachak and Elham Ellen Jamshidi in association. He has built his own practice with their help and oversight, working in the same criminal law chambers; the University Avenue Chambers located at 55 University Ave. in the heart of downtown Toronto.
Working alongside more than 30 other criminal lawyers, Shaleem is constantly learning, taking advice, and conferring with many of the very experienced and established lawyers in the chambers.
Shaleem is focused on criminal trials, trial advocacy, and providing his clients with a vigorous defence. He understands the law is constantly changing and accordingly to be an effective lawyer, he too, must always be learning and developing himself to ensure the best results for his clients.
